# Namespace Crosswalk

Identically spelled states are not automatically equivalent. A source event may lead to a separate interpretation or governance request, but the original source state is never rewritten into a different namespace.

Do not publish a simple RESTRICT -> HOLD mapping. RESTRICT_DIE is a Natural Math action state. HOLD is a governed unresolved posture in other namespaces.
